Los Angeles – A hospital psychiatrist recently testified about the mediation prescribed to the late Anna Nicole Smith by a doctor who is on trial for charges in connection with events leading up to her death. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), Dr. Nathalie Maullin expressed her belief that the former Playboy model had a prescription medication addiction and “a borderline personality disorder.”
Maullin is quoted by the AP as stating of medications prescribed to Smith by Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who has been named as a defendant in a drug conspiracy case, “My thoughts were these were very hard core medications to be giving for the kind of pain she was demonstrating… She was on medication that seemed like overkill for the type of pain she was in.”
