Los Angeles – Grammy winning singer Toni Braxton has reportedly filed for a second bankruptcy due to amassing millions in debt. As reported by the Associated Press (AP), the singer’s debts are listed to be between $10 and $50 million in court records.

As noted in the report, Braxton was forced to cancel a series of performances due to health issues in recent years, that are stated to have contributed to her mounting debt.

Debra Grassgreen, Braxton’s attorney, is quoted by the AP as stating of the filing, “This was a very difficult decision for Ms. Braxton… However, after months of trying to work out an acceptable arrangement with her principal creditors, she determined that the only way to assure that she could meet her tax obligations and provide for her two small children was to commence these bankruptcy cases.”
