

New York – Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor is reportedly set to write and release a memoir. As reported by Reuters, the first Hispanic female to be appointed to the High Court will include details about her immigrant upbringing and experiences leading up to her appointment as a Supreme Court Justice according to publisher Alfred A. Knopf, who released a statement about the book plans on Monday.
Sonny Mehta, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of the Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group, a division of Random House, Inc., which is owned by Bertelsmann AG, is quoted by Reuters as stating, “Sonia Sotomayor has lived a remarkable life and her achievements will prove an inspiration to readers around the world… Hers is a triumph of the Latino experience in America.”
A publishing date for the book has yet to be released.
